The concept and architectural design is by world renowned architect, Kenzo Tange. The building is fan shaped in plan, comprising of two segments of a circle each forming 23 & 16 storey towers respectively. This building was installed with ”intelligent” features inclusive of lifts, air-conditioning, lightings which are monitored by computers.

The columns are located at the periphery of the building making the internal open space column-free.
